A student of the nuances of both the law and human nature, who believes in first outworking and then outsmarting the adversary, Ben has garnered numerous jury trial victories in felony and misdemeanor cases and secured a host of dismissals on a variety of procedural grounds well. Ben is a post-conviction relief specialist who has successfully litigated scores of CPL 440 Motions for CFB clients. Ben is also a specialist in a host of administrative and quasi-criminal proceedings that relate to both criminal and immigration law, the vehicle and traffic law, including licensing matters with the New York City Office of Administrative Trial Hearings (OATH), before the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and litigating risk level determinations for registered sex offenders in SORA Hearings in Supreme Court. Attendant to his representation of non-citizens and individuals around the globe, Ben has also secured victories with the Commission for Central Files (CCF) of INTERPOL in canceling official red notice and diffusion notices issued against them by other nations.

Over the last 12 years, Ben’s representation has saved countless CFB clients from imminent deportation, secured citizenship, green cards, asylum approvals, U Visas, J Visa Waivers and hosts of other immigration benefits including release on bond from incarceration by immigration officials.
A long time and active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) where he previously served as a multi-year Co-Chair of the New York Chapter’s ICE/ERO Liaison Committee, Ben remains an active lecturer teaching other immigration attorneys to be stronger advocates for their clients while continue to remain a full-time litigator and defender in immigration and criminal courts.
Ben has been a member of the Association of Deportation Defense Attorneys (ADDA) and the Suffolk County Bar Association (SCBA). Ben has also donated his time working in an advisory capacity with civic organizations on the East End of Long Island advocating for immigrant-friendly legislation and policy at the town, county and state-levels.
