Eldon Looby is an associate at Cohen Forman Barone P.C in the matrimonial and family law practice. He joined the firm in 2023 after handling matrimonial matters at the largest employee union in New York City, District Council 37. Prior to that role, Eldon gained more than 15 years of litigation experience with founding and leading several law firms where he focused on business law, litigation, eDiscovery and matrimonial law. He has been admitted to practice law in New York State since 2004.

Professional Experience
While at District Council 37, Eldon handled a broad range of complex matters involving contested and uncontested divorces and prepared domestic relations orders. Prior to this role, he created and managed several law firms one of which he oversaw the expansion of offices in India. As part of his prior practice, he has counseled individuals, families and businesses ranging from solopreneur start-ups to small and medium sized enterprises. Eldon has also acquired more than 10 years of experience in eDiscovery matters having managed eDiscovery engagements and provided counsel on such matters while at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett P.C..
